The Training Site is located on the eastern shore of Rudyard Lake and should be approached from the northern end of the lake. To find the site, from Leek (by car):
| 1 | Take the A523 (heading for Macclesfield) | 4.6mi |
| 2 | Just after the Welcome to Rushton Spencer sign and start of the 40mph zone, turn Left onto Beat Lane (towards Congleton) | 0.1mi |
| 3 | In around 100 yards immediately after going over an old railway bridge and immediately before a white house on the left turn left onto a track (Reacliffe Road) | 0.1mi |
| 4 | After another 100 yards or so, bear left under another old railway bridge | 0.6mi |
| 5 | Continue down the track for around 2/3 mile. Once you get to a grey cattle bridge over the track, the site entrance is a few of yards away on your right |
